Haryana Government gazette amends HPSC HCS exam rules, mains papers increased to six; check details here

The Haryana Government has amended the HPSC HCS examination rules through an official gazette, changing the mains exam structure. The main written examination will now have six compulsory papers totalling 600 marks, including English, Hindi and four General Studies papers. Rules clarify question paper language, selection ratios for mains and interview, minimum qualifying marks, and final merit preparation based on written and personality test scores. Ex-servicemen requirements and benchmark disability provisions are also specified clearly.
